Don't say I told you this, but there's something out in those woods. A lot of somethings. They'll tell you it's the raccoons, or maybe a run-of-the-mill monster if it's real big, but it's not.

It's magic. Not the little kindergartner stuff they teach you here. Real, untamed, dimension-breaking magic. And they just ignore it. Not because they don't know, but because they don't wanna come to terms with it.

Mezyrs, yeah. A whole lot of 'em, strong ones. And cryptids, Mothman and Bigfoot and all them.

Beyond that, though. Something higher than the gods. I swear on my life they're out there. I've seen 'em.

There are angels. Netta, you're from the Raeniasya, you know 'em. But other ones, too. They'll put on glamours, but they're the wrong ones. I saw a human with perfect hair, swing dress, kitten heels, long painted nails. Straight out of the 1950s. Like she was headed to some kinda, fuckin', I dunno, what did people do then? Warforged slavery parties? It was the dead of winter. She shouldn't have been out in the forest like that. I asked her if she needed help and she just kept walking. She disappeared in the trees. It felt like I saw something I shouldn't have. Like nobody should have.

Some don't bother with glamours. Not at all. They just go. Thank god it was a counselor that saw the one out by the lake, because she lost her damn mind. Poor girl couldn't think enough to talk for days, 'nd we had to send her home. No clue what happened after that.

There are structures, too. Just these giant buildings that flicker in and out of existence. I saw one, a skyscraper so incredibly tall that you just couldn't comprehend it. Other people have seen houses. Maia saw a whole city out by Laramie's Canyon, sitting at the very bottom of it. She said reality looked like it broke where the buildings met the canyon walls.

I don't know what it is about this place that makes them come. Maybe the space between us and them is thinner here. Maybe it's something about us, or Abaddon, or Safril. Maybe they see something in this place that we can't. Who knows? I sure as hell don't.

Sorry if I scared you guys. I got s'more stuff somewhere in my backpack, would that make you guys feel better? No? Well I'm making them anyways, come get some if you want 'em.
